Obituary:
Mr. Bambran Rammohan Adyanthaya,
80, peacefully passed away on February 4th, 2012
at his home in Houston, TX, with his family by his side.
Mr. Adyanthaya was born January 25th, 1932, in Karkala, India,
the only child of the late Karunakar and Rama Adyanthaya.

Mr. Adyanthaya graduated with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering
from Guindi University, Madras.
He also received a M.S. in Automotive Engineering
from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore
and M.S. degrees in Nuclear and Mechanical Engineering
from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
Following graduation, Mr. Adyanthaya joined the
Indian Atomic Energy Commission in Bombay, India.

In 1969 Mr. Adyanthaya immigrated to the U.S.
and joined Bechtel Corporation in Rockville, Maryland,
as a Nuclear Engineer.
Following Bechtel, Mr. Adyanthaya worked for Ebasco Services
in Atlanta, Georgia and Houston Lighting & Power in Houston, Texas,
with whom he retired.

Mr. Adyanthaya's interests included his family, tennis, puzzles,
Houston professional sports, and anything University of Michigan.
Mr. Adyanthaya is survived by his wife Nirmala, son Surain,
and grandchildren Mohan and Misha.
